But...can U for sure prove that last statement?
I mean it does go on to say "the Lord added to the church daily SUCH as should be saved..."

To believe in Jesus! Repentance is about turning toward God. We do that by believing in Jesus. We can try to turn from sin all we want, but true repentance is not about turning from sin, its about turning toward God and that is done by faith on Jesus Christ. Now that being said, faith in Christ will lead us to also turn from our sins.

Im just sayin I think your last comment that the folks in Acts 2 were saved, is debatable.

What makes you think those folks were saved? Many if not most of them may have not even heard of Yeshua till their trip to Jerusalem.

But I believe I can.
Acts 2:21 NLT says, "But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." It continues on in verse 32, after Peter preaches the message of the cross of Christ, God raised Jesus from the dead, and we are all witnesses of this. 33 Now he is exalted to the place of highest honor in heaven, at God’s right hand. And the Father, as he had promised, gave him the Holy Spirit to pour out upon us, just as you see and hear today." This is where they were saved when the spirit was poured out, not tongues, but the spirit.
Also in verse 37 when Peter's word "pierced their heart" it is clear that they had changed by that time because of his words which I believe is evidence of the spirit now being in them. Then they ask "Brothers, what should we do?" Peter went back through it Repent or turn to God-call on the name of the Lord as in verse 21. Be baptized or washed like in a mikvah a ceremonial washing to show the public whos teaching you were following now (because after this they were converts to Christ so they were baptized to now be identified with Him). Then after you do that you will receive His spirit which is a promise to all.

You are right, but they heard about Him a few verses before Acts 2:38. Which could have been 5 minutes or 5 hours. We don't know how long it took to get to what he said in Acts 2:38 when he proclaimed, harkening back to Joel 2:28-32, to call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved-we call this repentance.

True. In Acts 2:38 when Pete says repent he is talking about what he pointed to in verse 21, which was a throw-back to Joel 2, But everyone that calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. That is how I see it.
