Acts 14:2 WOW!!!

at our family devotions tonight we read acts chapter 14. As I read, verse 2 really leaped out and slapped me upside the head. I know I have read it, probably many times, but it has never stood out like it did tonight.

Here it is:

Act 14:2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.

I had just never remembered reading it before. And it really is a powerful verse that shows the power that "a few" can have when they attempt to "stir up against". It makes me think of the Jews that stirred up the crowd to cry "Crucify Him!!", and "His blood be upon us".

Interestingly, in this scenario, the JEWS are the ones who put up fences around the fences....so you might want to reorganize your numbering on that list...
