As a general rule, she would need permission (with signed releases) to use a photo commercially, of anyone in it that is recognizable. Crowd scenes, e.g., are not a problem, except any individuals detailed enough to identify.
If it's not for commercial use (magazines, catalogs, etc.), it would be a courtesy to ask permission to post them on the web (non-commercially), e.g. Some people might get nervous about their picture being seen by 6 billion people.

I agree! I told her that if Sandra Bullock demands to see any photos before being published, then I do to! She doesn't understand!!
I have a sister that manages a printing company. She is taking random pictures while we were at the park! I had grabbed a jacket that was too big for me, navy (my worst color) and I didn't get to preview the photo! Well, she puts the picture on a family calender and gives them all out! I said, "You did that on purpose!" She started laughing!!!
