How bad did it pain you to write this?

It does more than just appear, it's one of his most well-documented cases of hypocrisy.

Shows nothing ever really changes ... but it does make a nifty li'l campaign slogan.

Americans are nosy aren't we? And lets face it, a lot of us don't trust our leaders. Some things we NEED to know, and others, well not so much. I just pray for our Governor, Congressmen and women, and our Senators, from Texas. And I pray for our President.

Re: No Access To White House Visitor Logs

This doesn't bother me much. Bush kept the logs private and the libs threw a fit ... now BHO is doing the same (backtracking on a campaign pledge while doing so) and the conservatives are throwing a fit.

Question is ... if libs were all for openess of gov't, why aren't they complaining about this president? Oh, yeah, forgot ... it's a fellow lib in the WH so it's ok.

Even more involved than the WH logs..

Data lags on Obama's stylish Web site

Information is harder to find on the Obama Web site than it was on the site created and run by the Bush administration, according to Web site experts.

"It doesn't seem to be quite in line with the notion of the pillars of government 2.0 being openness and transparency. It seems just the opposite," said Mark Drapeau, a columnist for Federal Computer Week who writes frequently on the ways that new technologies can be used by the government.

The biggest difference is that the Bush Web site archived all its information by year, month and day,
with a sidebar menu that allowed a user to view virtually all the information from, for example, a day in 2002 -- speech transcripts along with video and audio of the speech, press releases, official statements, nominations, letters to Congress, executive orders -- with three clicks of the mouse.

The same information on the Obama site, however
, is spread across various parts of the Web site. The longer ago something happened, the harder it is to find.

"It's lots of PR and not a lot of data," said Jim Harper, director of information policy studies at the Cato Institute, who called the site "brochureware."

But hypocrisy is hypocrisy.

Wasn't there some kind of issue though to draw the Democrats into criticizing Bush for hiding the logs-- wasn't there some kind of wrong doing allegations or somethng?

Only issue I remember is they wanted info on Abramoff (sp?). It's the same with every administration - and really it should be information available. Dems and libs also wanted Cheney to show visitor logs to prove he had oil executives visit at one time.

Conservatives and Republicans now want BHO to show visitor logs to see who's been at the WH and who BHO's circle of influence includes.

Again, it should be required by law that WH visitor logs are open and accessible. This junk Bush started and BHO continues, by trying to keep them secret is ridiculous.

I wouldn't call Monica a prostitute.

I was referring to the women who were procured and paid for JFK's pleasure.
