You did see the other threads on Light Doctrine below, right?
No, didn't look that far down.

Sis, all I can say is that on FCF you didn't believe this.
This forum business appears to have eroded your faith like I have seen it do to so many in the past few years.
I guess what I am saying do we not ALL to a certain point believe this?
IF we say no, then we are saying we already have all the light we need.

The light doctrine is a doctrine from the pits of hell. It flies in the face of truth.
How so?

I don't know alot about the Light Doctrine, certainly not enough to say I believe it or not. I suspect, like many Apostolic doctrines, there are various variations of the doctrine. So, I can't really say I agree or disagree.
But, I will say this: Psa 119:105 Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. If I understand anything about lamps is that they illuminate my surroundings, not my entire pathway. It shows me where I am, not where I have been, nor where I am going. A lamp shows me where I am. And the Bible does exactly that. It shows me where I am. I walk in the light as my pathway is illuminated. The Word lighted my pathway at repentance. I saw the "light"- the need to repent of my sins. I did so. Later, the Light showed me the need to be baptized in water. I did so. And so on.
I don't know if this is what is meant by "the Light Doctrine". But I am glad for the Light that shines in darkness!

Waiting for the Lord is easy... Waiting patiently? Not so much.

Let me make sure I clarify something here. As I understand the concept of the Light Doctrine, if you KNOW to do something then you have the light of that.
Sooooooo that is NOT an excuse to sin.
For instance, even the most new born of babes know the Ten Commandments. There is much in that to obey.
Pet 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
The righteous being the ones that do right and know to do what is right. If they are scarcely saved we must understand this is not a "free pass" game of life.
The other question is when does God say ignorance is no longer an excuse?
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD [concerning things] which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them:
Lev 4:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through ignorance against any of the commandments of the LORD [concerning things] which ought not to be done, and shall do against any of them: Lev 4:3 If the priest that is anointed do sin according to the sin of the people; then let him bring for his sin, which he hath sinned, a young bullock without blemish unto the LORD for a sin offering.
God made a way under the law if His people sinned in ignorance.
Do you not think in the time of Grace God would not provide an escape?

No, respectfully that is not what it means.
The light doctrine teaches that people can be saved outside of Acts 2:38 if they never heard it.
I don't believe that. The Truth has been revealed. The Comforter has come. He will lead and guide those who truly want to be led.
Ignorance God once winked at, but now commandeth all men to repent.
The hungry will find Truth.
If the light doctrine were true, we should burn all the Bibles and shoot the preachers, because if people hear and reject truth they are lost. Far better never to hear it and leave them in a state of ignorance where they won't be accountable.
If the light doctrine were true, missionaries should all come home and avoid at all costs removing people from the state of grace their ignorance of the Word places them in.
The light doctrine is is false doctrine.
Think about where this leads, Sis.
It is heresy.
We are responsible to the Word, not just to the part that we managed to hear.
