PO, that's because I will say it again, "POLITICS IS A BLOOD SPORT" it is not unlike those Gladiatorial Battles where people took no prisoners & fought to the death.
I heard someone say that his concession speech was the real John McCain, but that doesn't win the Presidency.

Bush was better than Gore, and far better than Kerry.
No we didn't choose wrongly then, but in a democracy you do have that ability.

Re: What Does This Election Say About America?
Slipping morality or at the very least moral compromise. Why? one might ask. One example in my life,my parents raised me a strict catholic and they had conservitive views on the issues. On abortion the were always pro-life. This election though, while talking to my mother switched her opinion to that of pro-choice. I am shocked.

How about a World--no US perspective?
30% of Americans approve of him.
It is tough being in the Majority!

Well, we've been friends a long time. I respect you because you've always been a gentleman, but when you criticize anything about my country - well - that's a little hard to take. You make me angry when you do that. Just saying....... So stop doing it!! You aren't an American.

In my Mock Mark tone, how am I criticizing your country?
Have I said it was bad?
Have I said Americans were bad?
I called John McCain a decent guy, but decent guys don't win elections.
I quoted an American Republican up here as stating in his words that Sarah Palin was out of her League, is that wrong?
I have never once stopped Americans from criticizing my country-if it was valid!
I usually agree with it.
I only get irritated when it is factually wrong.
So PO, an honest question, what am I doing wrong?
