Well ... at least we know ... who won't be leaving .... that's a strong commitment ... especially not knowing what will go down in Sept.

At least they chose good men...Some I know say If it passes they are leaving...because it will lead to a slope to the wolrd.

I am thankful for the men of good name recognition that say they will not leave..

There are a couple of really big anti-resolution names that are missing from this list. They just sent out a book instead.

I am surprised to see AM being so politically vocal ... BOTT now this .... it's somewhat uncharacteristic ...

Are there not risks in taking a public stance on this issue??

I will tell you that AM, My Pastor, is a risk taker and does not really care what anybody thinks, when sould are at stake.

A called him the other day just to tell him how proud of him I was for his comments at BOTT and the nature of his stand and being so vocal..

He IS probably, one of the most respected voices in our org among the younger to middle generations.

I believe Brother Travis, along with input from Brother Haney and the general board.

Perhaps the membership of the committe was limited due to the requirement that they members agreed not to leave the org. if the vote did not go their way.

I would imagine that many people on both sides of the issue would like to leave their options open.

I am rather surprised at AM agreeing but then the older he gets the more conservative I think he gets in some ways.
