Good advice ... hotel rates are more comfortable
To go to the Stadium... take the NJ Transit metro to Penn Station ...
Exit Penn Station on the 7th Avenue side. Walk one block east to Herald Square (34th St. at 6th Avenue). Go back underground and take a D train (or a B, does not run on weekends) uptown to 161st/Yankee Stadium.
Sit in the right field bleachers ... w/ the BLEACHER CREATURES ... nothing like it in baseball!!!
Don't take your kids if you sit there, however.
