In "Christianity" we now preach a doctrine about giving that is a 180 degree reversal of the biblical postition. We have evolved from a doctrine that "it is better to give than to receive" to a doctrine of "give so you can receive".
This is just another sad example of the selfishness that has replaced selflessness in society and sadly in the church as well.

No sir! He preaches the God of the Bible, not the God of this world who says do what you want, live what you want, and in the end, all will go to Heaven, even if you have no faith in Christ. That is the God of this world, and He has been cast down under our feet!

God must be weak and anemic because He CAN turn the clouds to different colours every day, but He does not, just like he CAN save everyone who went to hell. Yeah right .

A person should give to their local and support it because where one gets fed spirtually is what they should support with their seed if you will.
It's wrong for folks to tell folks sow to me,when people don't know these folks personally or their fruit.

Prosperity preaching has its place to a degree. Jesus said that if we forsake houses and lands in this life we shall receive the same back one hundred fold IN THIS LIFE. He did say it.
Yes He did, but you left out "or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children"! So you really think Jesus was speaking literally? Well, I'm not going to leave my children for that reward: what would I with 400 kids?
