I Hate The Prosperity Gospel

I agree with everything he says here....

Last year while vacationing down the East Coast. I turned on one of the Christian networks...All I heard for 2 straight hours was this false gospel...it made me want to vomit! We don't get these networks on our coast of Canada!!!!!!!!

What I saw was two preachers discussing how and why they don't feel guilty NOW about their BMW and Mercedes...the folks just clapped and clapped *I have NO problem with anyone driving a luxury car, but I don't think it is a promise of God*

I believe in the prosperity message, some have gone to the extreme with it. But we teach it to our staff and children in UGANDA. We teach it is not GODS will for us to live in lack. He wishes that we all prosper and be in good health. Prosperity is not just financial.

Yeah why don't they ever show all the people that haven't prospered after they send their money in. Or for that matter any of them that have prospered.(Besides the preachers). There should be truth in advertising.

Oh Yes! Geaux Tigers! Assume you must be referring to the LSU girl's basketball team. Louisiana girllllllll transplanted to Texas. My entire family lives in La. My sis and binlaw live in BRouge . They have enjoyed season tickets to LSU football and basketball for about 30 years. My dh likes to go to the games when we are down there. Also, they send him LSU t-shirts.
Also, our neighborhood has several LSU grads.

Another, I have forgotten the word "hate"... Praise the Lord!
