I had been struggling with a depression spirit for a little while. It just seeed like anything and everything was going wrong. I was in church a couple weeks ago and just felt the need to go to the alter. So I did. I broke down in tears, weaping to the Lord. I prayed "Lord help me be my happy self! Lord, I need a word from you that everything will be okay! Please Lord, I need to hear it's gonna be okay!??"
Not 1millisecond after I said that, a woman in our church came up beside me, and plain as day told me "The Lord said that it's gonna be okay!"
OOOOHhhhhhh THANK YOU JESUS!!!!
GOD IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!

I was in the back yard, needed to go to the front yard. Instead of being smart and walking around the house, I decided to jump the fence.
Privacy fence. 6 feet high. I am 5 foot 10.
Anyway, the slat I was holding on to came loose and when I came down, the hand that was holding the board jammed into my jaw.
The force of the impact slammed my head backwards and I actually felt the back of my head HIT my BACK.
It took a while but I got up, and went inside the house. It was incredibly painful so I asked my wife to drive me to the emergency room (should have called an ambulance)
When we got there, the Dr did a pretty quick once over, and I was already loosing strength in my arms, I couldn’t get out of a chair.
She told me that this was beyond the capabilities of the facility I was at so they rushed my to Parkland which is the regional trauma center.
Then she started me on a super heavy steroid drip.
Then where I could not hear, she told my wife to expect a quadriplegic to come home if I lived. I had a bruised spinal column.
I went to Parkland, spent 3 days in ICU, then walked out of the hospital.
I suspect there are several around here that wished I used my fingers to type a lot less… but I have good use of both legs, both arms, and any brain damage was already there before the accident.
God spared my life that night.

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
