That is a pretty strong indicator that our brother knows full well that he dropped the watermelon.
There is real honest to God prophetic in the Apostolic movement. I have seen it time and time again. But you know what? They hardly ever make it to the big show. They almost never get a paycheck for it, and they never look to be noticed by the huddled masses.
Jesus' Apostolic Church is alive and well.
You pray for me I've had a hard day.

And they don't call themselves "Apostle Smith" or "Prophet Jones".

Re: Prophetic word by Bro Arcovio "no election"
I knew a guy, a children's minister, goofy, funny, a big kid. But alone, one on one, really really in tune. He told me things in private that were 100% accurate. I'm not a gullible über spiritual type, touchy feely get caught up in the hype. So when he told me some things he absolutely could not have known beforehand about some kids in my youth group I asked him, "Are you a prophet?" He said "God has given me some gifts." I said, "Why do you keep it a secret?" He said, "Because people will want me to do all that stuff in church and I'm not called to operate that way. I'm called to lead children to salvation. I use the gifts God has given me in the altar and when I'm out in public."
Didn't want to be called Prophet So-and-So; didn't want to hold gatherings where he puts on a Prophet Show or a Spiritual Gifts Performance. Understood what God gave him and used in the context of what God called him to.
My question is---why do these guys have to have a public gathering with a platform, microphone, and stage lights for God to heal, speak prophetically through them, or to be used of God? And why must we always hear "I just came out of a time of prayer and God said to me..."? Jesus said to pray in secret and the Father would reward openly.
Self promotion and slick marketing is a huge red flag to me to run away.

Re: Prophetic word by Bro Arcovio "no election"
I know one guy who has a tour bus that has "Taking Care of Business" emblazoned on the side. Like he's Elvis or something. The man "prophesied" to me something would happen in two days and guess what? Didn't happen.
Another guy asked to meet me privately in the pastor's office and prayed for my bad right knee. (I've never had a problem with either knee---ever). One of his defenders said "sometimes God has people pray for things that are going to happen so they don't. God could've had him pray to prevent a knee injury." Oy vey. That leaves ANYTHING on the table then I guess.

Re: Prophetic word by Bro Arcovio "no election"
Back in the "read your mail" days, an evangelist came to our church and "read the mail" of a young, single girl who was in the youth group. God told him that she needed to cut off her secret relationship, else what happens in secret would be revealed to everyone.
We thought he was off his rocker. She seemed to be a good, strong, HG filled young lady living for God. She was also very homely looking and had never dated anyone during her teenage or young adult life.
Less than a year later, she gave birth to a child from some dude she had been sneaking out to be with late at night.

Jesus told Nathaneal his name and where he was under a fig tree earlier, etc. and revealed Himself as a prophet, let alone Messiah. He said these thing shall we do and greater.
I had a minister ask me to stand in a meeting and listed three seriously specific and far from generic things he wanted to pray for which were precisely the very three things I had been seeking God for myself without anyone having known.
This sort of public ministering of this gift increases faith in those watching when they see the person testify of the validity of the claims. I experienced it a few times personally while ministering to people. I know it increases my faith exponentially.

Re: Prophetic word by Bro Arcovio "no election"
I am conflicted in situations like this.
You have the Word of the Lord for sure.
You have false prophets for sure.
You have people that are truly saved, truly used by the Lord, and one day it seems or it is clear that they have missed the mark.
If we stone everyone who misses the mark occasionally, then no one will be inclined to let themselves be used of the Lord in this way.
I am inclined towards mercy for this brother, but if I am wrong to be so inclined, please let me know.

I agree wholeheartedly and echo the reservations others have expressed toward the bent toward titles and showmanship.
I've been the beneficiary of an anointed word. I've also been "called out" by a fake whose entire "ministry" involves reading minds. In front of God and everybody, including the local pastor, he called me out and stated that I was the key to revival in the city in which the church I was visiting sat, assuming that I was a member.
I was embarrassed for him, and felt bad for the local pastor.
Frauds damage faith in the gifts.
