Well, you're a Muslim, let a Christian go there to start a church preaching Jesus is the way and see how much kindness abounds.

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
There is no need for your message in Mecca. The Meccans who guard Mecca are well aware of what follows your message.
I am sure of one thing. The ONLY reason you imagine preaching in Mecca is probably because your message is so weak and impotent that your own neighbors and communities see no value in it and reject it as they go their own way, leaving you with empty prospects and imaginary places to "win souls".
Indeed if your message had ANY worth or ANY value your communities would be kind and your communities would be safe. Instead all it takes to make you cower in fear and beg for air cover is some raggedy villager 8 or 10 time zones away sending e-mail about how much they hate you from his mud hut. What is this? So many words about "faith" and "inheriting the earth" and look at you cower. Bleh. No wonder you need to imagine "winning souls" in Mecca to make you feel good. Instead think about this: What would it be like if your faith and your faith alone was enough and you did not need anything else to feel good? LOL

Today's news - since it's on Fox it must be true LOL
Indonesian anti-terrorism forces shot and killed an alleged militant and arrested another in a predawn raid Saturday in Central Sulawesi province, police said.
National police spokesman Brig. Gen. Boy Rafli Amar said the two suspects were among fugitives wanted for the assassination of two police officers who were killed last month while investigating terrorist activities in the area.

This country is 95%+ Islamic (and they don't average 250,000 rounds per insurgent either LOL). Question (it's simple yes or no): If Muslims in Muslim countries are executing terrorists are they condoning terrorism? You people believe that the terrorists represent Islam. We believe that the executioners represent Islam.
We have a lot of pics taken in Saudi. Lemme see if I can find some of christmas lights LOL. I KNOW we have pics of the holloween decs that were put out annually.

I don't believe the Indonesian government condones terrorism, at least not in their own nation. I doubt any government does
BTW did you live on a compound?

What if you were a white boy redneck Christian?

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
So now you are looking for an angle? You were advised, politely, to not take my words at face value and contact some white boy redneck christians who live there and who work there and ask them what life is like. There are a zillion expatriate online communities available to do this. The members are frank and honest about answering questions about life there including how they are treated and what they experience on a day to day basis.
It takes the same amount of time to sign up and research these things as it does to sign up on this forum. This is my advice. There are bad things out there but what I hear on this forum, whatever your sources, is not what I saw in Saudi or Abu Dhabi or Bahrain or Dubai or Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur and is not what my white redneck christian colleagues experienced in Egypt or Lebanon or Turkey - other common "quick trip" vacation spots chosen to spend weekends where we just, due to having a little one, never got a chance to visit.
Go you out and do research!
We lived in an expatriate community owned, managed, secured, and operated by our Saudi employer and by local Saudis and the referenced minister was a full time / benefitted company employee. I also worked with European, US, and Australian engineering firms who had employees staying in apartments in the city and we spent a great deal of time out of the community and in the local town (where the KFC wasnt bad) or in the city itself. Contrary to what you may hear, the country is full of expatriate employees and they have a great deal of tolerance (exception: drugs, alcohol, pork, etc) for how those expatriate employees conduct themselves.

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
I wonder why I wasnt mistaken for one and simply attacked, in the most guarded city, considered the center of Islam? Since "those radical Muslims" are constantly looking for westerners and foreigners to attack I wonder why I wasnt bothered? I didnt dress differently. I didnt act differently. Nobody checked our papers or passports (except my US passport when we checked in to the hotel) We toured the whole city. BUT nobody, in the thousands of people (all Muslims, in their own city and in their own country) there doing the same thing we were doing, bothered me and nobody bothered my family with me. You think it was because I lived in an expat community on the other side of the country? My family and I were on THEIR streets. Safely.
So explain that Prax. How can we walk among them in their own country and if they are so violent and hate us so badly why do they offer kindness and nothing more. Huh?
You and your buds are being lied to dude.

I was just asking a polite question. Why are you being so belligerent towards me?

Re: Pedophilia in Kansas Church
I know you were. I just believe that your questions can best be answered by your own. I will see what I can do on this thing as we have friends returning for repat in a few weeks. Perhaps I will advise them to this forum.
You have as little reason to trust my answer as I have reason to lie to you LOL - see the problem?
