True the churches in Rev 2 & 3 did teach false doctrine but since they were addressed as the church ALL of them had obeyed the gospel(Acts 2:38) to become members of the Lord's church and NONE-ZERO-ZILCH-NADA were Trinitarian. You never make the scriptures fit YOUR experience you make your experience fit the scriptures that is your error.

You have to realize, the "He" in the passage isn't you, your pastor, or Epley (as much as he wishes to be) or the guy down the street. Could you determine from this who the head of the body, the church, is?

Paul said that "By one Spirit you are baptized into one body". That's Bible. Was I or was I not baptized into the Body of Christ when Jesus filled me with the Holy Ghost back in 1980?

If you received the Holy Ghost then you are commanded to be baptized in Jesus name. To fail to do that means you have aborted the birth process and you are DOA. Until a person is born again of the water and Spirit they cannot go to heaven.

Edited to add: God breathed the breath of life upon you and until you are baptized in Jesus name you are in the birth canal of the mother. Only after the "water" is broken (baptism takes place) you are not a full fledged member of the body. Paul was speaking to those who had already passed through the waters of baptism and were in context members of the body. The place in scripture where someone had received the Holy Ghost prior to baptism were immediately commanded to be baptized to complete the birth.

God doesn't require that we perfectly understand the infinite Godhead to be saved. Most Oneness folk don't entirely agree on the Godhead. The key is... receiving the Holy Ghost. This is what regenerates the spiritually dead human spirit.

I believe that God's prevenient grace can work with a person for many years before Jesus name baptism being revealed to them. They weren't "lost" during that period of time. In addition... I don't believe in formulas. The key is calling upon Jesus at one's baptism, it's not a magic incantation that washes away sins. If a Trinitarian is baptized by some traditional pastor reciting the Trinitarian formula, it has no bearing if the seeker is calling on the name of Jesus in their heart.

If one refuses to obey and be water baptized... or if Jesus name baptism is revealed to a person and they continue to rebel against it... yes... I do believe that God can cut them off.
