Was Mary the physical mother of Jesus or was she just an incubater? What you are really espousing there is actually Divine flesh. You may not realize it, but essentially what that means is because they did not have sex Jesus did not inherit the sin nature from Mary....but that would mean then that he inherited NOTHING from Mary physically....see it has nothing to do with sex. If Jesus was made from Mary's Humanity then Jesus has the same nature she does

That is essentially what the Divine Flesh advocates believe.

Consider these verses

Rom 1:3 concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh

Gal 4:4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law,

Heb 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin.

It is the seed of faith, making you and I the children of Abraham by that same spiritual (Christ) seed of Abraham.
Then you are, by default, maintaining that the natural "seed" of Abraham would have had to be pure. Point: If it was preserved, as I believe you stated earlier, and then implanted into Mary, then it would have had to go through some major transformation fro sinful to sinless. In other words, you seem to be exempting Abraham from the Adamic nature/sin quotient.

Unless, adn here is where it can get tricky, you are saying in a moment'stime the natural became spiritual , and voila! Christ! ????

This is the stance that HF proponents take. Scott, I didn't know you believed that doctrine.

Jesus Christ had human flesh ,not divine flesh ,Jesus called Mary His mother.
But I do know the Holy Ghost overshadowed a virgin and she conceived ,how did she conceive I don't know ?it was supernatural, but if Jesus had a fallen Adamic ,nature ,He couldn't have been The Lamb Of God slain before the foundation of the world .
How did a virgin conceive I don't know ?But I believe what the Bible says.

It is also what I and countless others believe who are not DF believers. He had a human nature, but not the fallen human nature of sinful humanity.
