Oh, if you mean me I've done my fair share of ad hominems. Here though I hadn't said a word to this person or about this person when he decided to respond to my saying many versions are wrong with a pejorative.

Paul didn't just preach Love either. He said he warned them of things. It wasn't all love. He also spoke to churches about the coming judgment and destruction

2Th 1:7 and to give rest with us to you who are troubled, at the revealing of the Lord Jesus from Heaven with the angels of His power,
2Th 1:8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God and who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ,
2Th 1:9 who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,
2Th 1:10 when He shall come to be glorified in His saints and to be admired in all those who believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that Day.
2Th 1:11 Therefore we also pray always for you that our God would count you worthy of the calling and fulfill all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power,
2Th 1:12 that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.

See, they warned people about the sin of unbelief and the consequences, This was typical., Point to man's condition, the direction man's condition will take them and the solution, God's Love

True, however, it is when this warning is extrapolated to eternal torture in a custom design terror chamber that it is erroneous!!!
