Easy, easy you always been this way. The only thing you are an expert at is being religious. Third generation? What does that mean? It just means that the first generation was hardcore, the second was a little less, and by the time it reached you it fizzled out. Not saying that is the case with all, but you bringing up how your people have been in One NESS since Pentecost is a laugh. So, how about telling me about your journey? I would also like to know why. And what do you think of Putin and his relationship to the church oligarchs. Apparently they are justifying Putins war as a holy war against the ungodly west.

Putin's mother was his biggest influence as far as the Eastern Orthodox church goes. Therefore he backs them up, and in turn they back him up. Eastern Orthodox as the Western Romans have always been in the game. Aldous Huxley points that out in Brave New World.

My brother married an Eastern Orthodox girl. They go to church on special occasions. They have been known to get pretty wasted. It is pretty lenient org. as long as you are exclusively loyal to the Eastern Orthodox Church. My brother is hard to discuss religion with. The Eastern Orthodox is 2000 years old and Pentecost is only a little over 100years is some of his logic too. It seems to me the scripture should be the basis of our church doctrine and not we are old and must be right.

I think seguidordejesus might be a different case (i don't know, just assuming) because people getting married get married into the religion of their spouse. My father in law, had to accept Eastern Orthodoxy in order to marry my mother in law. But I would suppose your brother isn't a convert in the sense of zeal towards devotion and study. Just happened to marry a women who was Orthodox, and therefore to be able to get the whole thing down, he had to kiss an icon, the priest's hand, and then his wife to be. After that was all done he was good to go. Just show up… whenever.

I would surmise seguidordejesus ponder his move to the dome of icons a little more than meeting some senorita in matrimony. I must say seguidordejesus isn't as fervent as other converts I know, who are at the ready to disprove us (as the Eastern Orthodox priests label us) "Monarchians."

Still would like to know why he hangs out in an Apostolic chat forum for all these years? If we are heterodox, and he has ascended high above us heretical pygmies.
