It is not a novel concept in the Bible that some have different levels of understanding.
I will never understand the difference b/c there is no difference. The explanation that was given by the local WPF pastor paraphrased. "We do not want to advertise using this form of media and then explain to them later it is a sin to watch the same media form that attracted them to the church first. "
Explain to me then why you can subject yourself to an interview by that same form of media??

Revelation has nothing to do with being "simple" or learned. That is the reason, it is revelation. God has chosen the simple to confound the wise.

My two cents (know I wasn't the one asked)... whether or not it is a "hell" issue depends on what is not understood.

No matter how sincere, will someone who does not understand or accept that Jesus died for their sins heaven bound?

I would defensive too if AFF was my permanent playground was being held accountable. Certain members, and participants of this board are long known to defame orginazations, churches and preachers. This is no mystery.

Asking questions is one thing. It's a healthy thing. Even disagreeing is one thing. But being crude, disrepectful, calling said individuals "hypocrites", challenging their integrity as men of God and promoting postings that are distorting their own personal beliefs (eg. NW and Mary Magdalene hogwash from yesterday). This post I will use as an example. Much of the conclusions were drawn before all the facts coming out. Weren't they??

Whether or not the Admin is involved, it happens, and happens often. I am not new. My eyes have been around a long time. Its other posters like me that SHOULD speak up and you should be thankful for it.

I've read thru this thread as you have continually defamed AFF as a whole.

If you don't like our forum, and you think that that folks here have no scruples, it would probably benefit you greatly to join a more spiritual forum.

I think there in lies where the contention is and why we get such a bad rap, because we talk about things that are that some in ministry would consider off limits. Is not the same as defaming someone character.
Well allow me to use another analogy as you've compared this one to drunkenness. The homosexual movement has advanced their cause by "just asking why" so often that the resolve of Americans has run this and most can care less. What we talk about and the reasons we talk about them are extremely important. see Phil 4:8 for more.

No one has said asking questions equals defamation. Defamation, by definition, is when someone makes a false claim, expressly stated or implied, to be factual, that may give an individual, business, group, organization, etc... a negative image. Slander is spoken, so wouldn't apply on AFF.

Ask any question you want. Just keep it questions until all facts are known. In this case, facts weren't known. I was PMd by an involved party with the facts earlier this morning. Posters are just quick to run their mouths WITHOUT first asking enough questions. Yes, people leave church often because of GOSSIP.
