I'd like to see you speak to yourself out of heaven, Steve. Not really a good example my friend.

Yeah I STRONGLY disagree with that. It is meant to be crystal clear, if not why even bother trying to prove it?
The idea that it's a hidden truth is to me gnostic. It is reminiscent of mystery religions.

The definition of "mystery"
hidden thing, secret, mystery
So if that classifies Christianity as a "mystery" religon so be it.
Jesus spoke in parables so the average guy would not understand.
Then those who stayed with him he would give them the meaning.
3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 Tim. 3:16
What do you know... the very thing were talking about (who Jesus is) is a HIDDEN TRUTH.

No that does not classify Christianity as a mystery religion, just your view of Christianity.
BTW that verse seems pretty clear. It's not a special hidden meaning. It's clear. The Mystery hidden through out the bible until NOW, has been revealed. See that's the point., There are no mysteries, there are revelations and the word is God's revelation

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

It seems that Elder Epley has started this very subject before just to .....

Yes the mystery has been revealed TO THOSE WHO SEE IT. Not to everyone. Most people who go to Church still dont understand 1 Tim. 3:16. Thats why we are having this discussion.
When Trinitarian believers read 1 Tim. 3:16 they DONT know the meaning.
They think it means God the Son was manifest in the flesh. Or the eternal son of God was manifest in the flesh. The one very thing that Paul IS SAYING that it was GOD who was manifest in the flesh is the only thing they DO NOT SEE in that verse.
They cannot see that God, the one and only God of the Old Testament came in the flesh. If they had THAT REVELATION they would be Oneness rather than fighting against it.

Re: All Trinitarians are Lost!!!!!!!!!!!
Meet the Jesus of the Bible. The one very few want to know.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said , I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is , but the Father; and who the Father is , but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. Luke 10:21-22
He rejoiced that God had hidden the truth of the Messiah from the wise and prudent and showed it to babes. Yes what today would be thought of as "rubes", "country bumpkins", "ignorant" and non seminarians THESE are the ones he delights in giving revelation to.
Oh yes these things ARE written in scripture. One can study it out and see it. But until Jesus reveals it it will remain a secret to the reader. That why many millions of people who read the Bible cannot see what the Pharisees could not see.
Unless you believe that I am he you shall die in your sins.John 8:24
This is not MY doctrine in the sense that I made it up. It is the doctrine of Jesus. Because I belong to him now it must become MY doctrine.

Bro Epley, I'm still waiting for you to respond to my other points.....

If I felt like you was sincere I would do my best to help you. That does not mean putting a Trinitarian in the pulpit where I pastor.
