You have a foreboding and feel like something bad is going to happen on your niece's travels home, so you pray, God answers a prayer , and because of that you have become a murderer! Go figure!!
The problem here, Esther, is that you believe God answers prayer. Shame on you!

We haven't been trying to call either of you a murderer. What we have been saying is that the God we believe in had no part in answering Esther's prayer this time. An answered prayer doesn't involve the death of someone that would otherwise be alive if the prayer wasn't answered.

Your issue is perhaps "oneness doctine" since I never mentioned it.
I am through discussing this with you. I have never seen so many ignorant, distorted post. Apparently I am posting with some unbelievers.
Casino prayers? Lottery prayers? Ignorant reasoning. IMO

This mea culpa may be the wisest thing you've said here. This whole issue of Theodicy does appear to be unfamiliar ground for you. And, FWIW - it really was Mizpeh's calls for the grieving people to "repent" that irked my ire. You at least appeared to be simply grateful to have your loved ones safe - a noble and understandable sentiment even if the initial posts appeared to overlook the suffering of others.
And, "Casino prayers?" You do understand what an analogy is, don't you? You throw out the accusation of "ignorant" in such a way that I feel sorry for you over the impressions you've made here.

How could you possibly know that?
And how could you possibly know that the other family would have been alive if the niece's car had been struck first?
If the crazy driver was on a suicide mission then someone was going to die that day and he was planning on taking others with him. God had nothing to do with the collision.

Esther, did you really have to burn them alive? Wasn't that a bit over the top? Couldn't you have shown more mercy?

Because it is not in the nature of our God to answer a prayer with a result of death for someone who would have otherwise lived if the prayer had not been answered.
As far as knowing the other family would be alive if the niece's car was struck first, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if there was nothing to have killed the other family then they would still be alive.

No. Just a logical conclusion to the suppositions you made.
Your prayers "redirected" the car that would have collided with your loved ones. That car subsequently collided with another car. Ergo, you are responsible for the collision that did occur.
I obviously don't think that you're really responsible for anything here other than concern for the safety of your loved ones. But, if you want to take responsibility for the way things turned out - you really should accept full responsibility.
The fact that this is absurd is my point.

That post wasn't calling her a murderer, it was stating that she would be if she was correct.

Oh, my bad. Esther's "whole church" needs to repent?
