I think it's more an evasion than a deflection...but I may be overly analyzing the Newbie...

There have been many calls discussing many options/scenarios just making sure exactly what the content was.

The call was from a Pastor associated with the Tulsa meeting who IS leaving the UPC. He called encouraging for the person I know to pull out of the UPC.
He went on to talk about positions that might be available in the new ORG.

The person that received the call is VERY close to me...it's a relative. he wouldn't lie.

He got the call encouraging him to come to the meeting in Tulsa AND also to not renew his dues. If he would agree to this BEFORE going to the meeting, he would be invited to attend some "formation meetings"

So this call was not from one of the 6 (now reportedly 7) sponsors?
And this caller was leaving, not remaining while encouraging the other to leave?
May or may not have the blessing of those who are the organizers.?
