Are the Godairs leaving?

Many of the predictable California players have announced their departure ... yet there seems to be information pointing to the JG and KG ... who are on the steering committee ... having COLD FEET.

One report has surfaced that although JG is definitely unhappy w/ the new direction he is starting to become displeased w/ many of the attitudes of those leading the charge to break away ... He has expressed these concerns to KH.

Secondly, KG still seems to be very cautious about telling his church that he's leaving. He did tell his church a week after GC that they all should enter a season of fasting and praying because he was unhappy w/ the results.

Although he is listed on the steering committee ... reports are that his church is still in a season of fasting and prayer ... as to what direction to take. He has made no official announcement as of yet with about 6 weeks until the Tulsa meeting.

What gives ??? Will the Godairs follow the California crowd to Tulsa?

Dan It has been reported on CAF with men involved in this that all the sponsered agreed to leave when they decided on having the Tulsa meeting?
This has been discussed several times as there has seemed to be conflicting reports about them? It won't be long until we all will know.

IMO ....It seems a bit unfair to KG's Burlington church to think their pastor is on the mount seeking God's will on the issue ... when he's on the steering committee and made such a promise. Reports are that some are just waiting for his public decision to leave so as to make a decision if they will stay w/ him or find a UPC church

Dan at his present time they are meeting in Branson having a meeting about Tulsa. I was just told the six have become seven. T. L. Craft is being added to the list. A brother on CAF just spoke to one of the sponsers moments ago.

I must say that I have wondered what all the conference speakers would do. If they leave there are men just as able that can fill thier shoes. Maybe they can still preach for UPCI churches if they leave. They are leaving because they think the org is too liberal and JS left becasue it was too conservative and he is still preaching for UPCI churches.
