Does anybody know what happened to David Meintasis? He was a pretty good choir director at Union City or Chico?

My eldest sister taught at WABC Bible School in the 70's, in fact she taught what turned out to be a lot of these UC preachers, hmmmm...anywho, she continued to wear the veil while teaching and attending the UPC church, everyone left her alone and she received no grief over it. She was highly respected, and she believed she respected God by doing so, no harm no foul.

El Obispo preached at Eastwood Sunday and will be there most of the week this week. My kids really enjoyed him. He was humorous as always.
I don't know if I told you that my roomates at TBC were all AA... one of which was Marlon Salazar when his dad was the bishop of the AA. Arturo, formerly and possibly still the Bishop in Arizona was in Houston at the time and he hung out up there all the time. One would have thought he was a student as much as he was on campus.
We had some good times together... making guacamole and heating up tortillas on our forbidden hotplate... oh yeah...

and...
... the fact that they retained this from a prior denomination's teaching means nothing - whether talking about observance of a Christian women's covering or a traditional view of the ressurection, dipensationalism, hell, or tithes.

Sounds like you're saying that spanish (which is not just a language it was/ still is a peopled NATION - SPAIN) assemblies (of what denom or are you just saying people from Spain?) people kept it as if meaning that they were all catholics!! Don't blame me others might reach same conclusion.
No one INVENTS a headcovering, GOD thought enough of it to mention it in the BIBLE (so its more than a tradition)! .. and its not just for spanish people either.

Nobody said it meant something. It was just a statement of fact on DAs part and Thad and I agreed. It's part of a religious culture in South America.

Noooooo...first of all Dan said it...second NOBODY said anyone invented head coverings. Roman Catholic Spaniards pretty much conquored South America and forced a religious culture on the people. Veils are part of that. So are special coming of age parties for girls...
Not only that traditional women from Mexico often have very long long long hair...yeah like a lot of Oneness Pentecostals. Nobody said they were catholics.
Nobody said it was just for spanish people...good grief lol What's wrong with you guys?
