At the end of the spot the name of the church comes up with address, phone and INTERNET info. The ad time only cost them $400 a month for 70 30 second ad slots on cable channels like ESPN, TNT, TBS, GS, CNN, Fox News, MS NBC, Discovery, Disney, etc.
Cable TV advertising is very affordable.

The media and means is readily available these days, it is time for the UPC to free individual churches to use popular media as they deem appropriate for their community. The UPC will strengthen its future by doing so, the UC's will come along in another 20 years or so.:sshhh:sshhh

Br. Ewing is very close to my family. He and my dad were great friends. My mom does tailoring for the entire Ewing family. My daughter, grand daughter and son in law are under his pastoral care. In the past 3 weeks he, with permission, counseled my 21 year old son and impacted him more in 45 minutes than anyone ever has regardless the time invested. His genuine love and compassion are unmatched in this generation!
God Bless Bro. Murrell Ewing!

Let me echo the sentiments of these folks. Nobody that has deep convictions acquired them without a certain amount of questioning their own beliefs. Some make mistakes during that time. The smart ones come back to a bibilcal foundation and become 'fully persuaded'. It's the birthplace of convictions.
Landy found that birthplace and I would stand him beside anyone I know in depth of love, purity of spirit and soundness of convictions. I've preached there and been with them various times and I've never found Landy with an air of presumtousness, an attitude of superiority or a 'you owe me because my name is Ewing' bone in his body.
He's a success story of one who looked 'both' ways and then made the right decision. oloroid

That is my take on Landy.
He is as down to earth and kind spirited as anyone you will meet.
He is a prince of a man.

I love Murrell Ewing. I remember a message he preached at the GC in St. Louis, MO, "Saturday's Heroes." What an incredible message! He preached another message at BOTT years ago about the Sop, when Judas betrayed Jesus.
His singing is anointed and moving. I enjoy hearing ME sing.

One of his greatest was a BOTT years ago when he preached "Early Altars".

This would be a direct result of the attitudes passed on to him from his mom and dad. I can just about guarantee that.

Couldn't this be contrued as someone is not using correct english.....
Should not the wording of "ME is" actually be "I am" ?
(for those of you who don't know me too well, I have a weird sense of humor at times!)
