Yes, a lot of stuff goes on, on this forum. But none of us are in the pulpit here, speaking to a dependent audience of followers while saying, "Thus saith the Lord." What is written on this forum and what is spoken in a spiritual enrichment setting can never be compared.

Not sure I could agree with that. Wasn't this type forum set up to help people to vent and discuss a plethora of issues - victory and pain? We can also be held just as accountable as GP.

Rough background or not, doesn't excuse carnality from the saint or ministry.

Lucky for me. But if I ever mock and make fun of people like he did, feel free to view me as one.
I have great misgivings about tongues as they are used in pentecostalism and I talk about it a lot here on the forum. But I would NEVER make fun of it. EVER. I see tongue-talkers here on this forum write things like, "shock-a-ma-ha" in a funny way to provoke laughter and I don't have a clue how they can do such a thing. Mockery??? I can't process it, I just can't.

Then let's make sure we don't EVER do that on this forum. If we are going to point fingers, let's remember that three are pointing back at us.

Yes, but you can come across hard in other ways. That doesn't mean I don't like you. I think we need to look at ourselves much, much more than we look at other people. At least, that is how I feel about it.

I wish it were so.
Maybe that's why I want to see some grace extended to these men because we are just as weak as they are.

Re: A Relevant Holiness Message
What I see when I watch the combined, one week apart, sermon's is how unfair it is for RM to characterize the preacher from the internet--most likely another Apostolic or someone who used to be--in such a bad light (Very adament that what he did by using the worldly song was wrong, ungodly, unholy, and out of order in the house of God). Only to have the same group of people being preached to do the very same thing the very next week!
I personally would love for RM to simply shed some light on this subject with us. There is no one any more qualified to simply discuss:
1) Do you justify this contradiction?
2) Do you simply ignore it and go on because there is nothing you can do?
3) Do you admit to the church that you were overcome with zeal and misspoke about the use of rock songs to illustate a sermon occasionally?
4) Do you deem what happened in your pulpit "ok" because it was a conservative that did it in a conservative church with an attitude that states, "We can handle it unlike those flaming liberals who incite the jeolosy of God when they do it?"
5) Were you wrong to make such critical remarks to your church about another preacher?
6) Do you feel the only way you can verify your stand on holiness to your church is to villify other preachers in your pulpit who may not agree with you?
7) Can you admit that from an outside perspective there is a contradiction between the two weekend messages?
Look, I think its a good discussion on what one should do if this does occur. One thing for sure, it makes me want to be very carful what I say in the pulpit that might come back to bite me in the rear! LOL (Which I am sure we have all been guilty of at some point)

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?
Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.

That's what I thought you were doing in the thread where you were analyzing the preacher's clothing and his delivery style "uh".
