If God cannot answer a prayer against your will, or not answer you at all, without it turning you against him, then he was never your God. I learned that through very difficult times.

Then why trash the bible when a prayer isn't answered for healing for a brother?

hurt and anger. I've been there.
I prayed for something very specific once. Something seriously crucial. The exact opposite happened.
For a long time it caused me to struggle with the ideas of God's faithfulness and the authenticity of scripture. It truly was a crisis of faith.
Then I resolved myself to the truth that if God is really my God, then I cannot accept the good and reject the "bad." While the crisis threw my faith into a struggle, ultimately it was strengthened, but not until I let go of the hurt and anger and submitted to the full will of God - even if that will seem to be my destruction.

This.
I think a lot of people feel 'let down' in these types of situations partly due to a faulty pre-conversion evangelism experience. What I mean is this: If the gospel is presented as a call to forsake your will for the will of God, then converts will come into this new life with a clear understanding that their will has been subsumed into the will of God. So there will be less chance of 'God not doing something I want and making me angry' in the future.
It's like joining the military, and in Basic discovering 'Hey, the recruiter lied to me! I didn't think it was going to be like THIS!' An honest presentation of the gospel helps people to remember 'this is what I signed up for'.

Re: Does God have a father?
There are many Gods, the bible says so.
Exodus 12:12 I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt.
Exodus 15:11 Lord, who is like You among the gods?
Psalm 82:1 he judgeth among the gods.
Psalm 97:9 You are exalted above all the gods.
Since I have shown at least 4 scriptures that show there are other gods, then you must accept that there are other gods, unless you do not believe the Bible.

Re: Does God have a father?
Since trinitarianism does not see KAI in the Greek (often translated as "AND') as meaning EVEN, perhaps they have a God the grandfather, or uncle, or ...:
Col_3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
Jas_1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
