How does that work? How does one pastor in one city and run a college in another city?

Wow! Congratulations to Darrell. They could not have chosen a better man. Like the other poster I am wondering though how he can pastor a church in Atlanta and be President of a Bible College in St. Louis. Any word on how this will happen?
I sure hope he is not giving up his church.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

"Brother Johns currently serves as a board member for Gateway College, a pastoral board member of the Foreign Missions Board of the United Pentecostal Church International (UPCI), and pastor of Atlanta West Pentecostal Church in Lithia Springs, Georgia. He will remain in these capacities and execute his presidential responsibilities at Gateway via telecommunication and by commuting to the campus on a monthly and as-needed basis."
here is the story from the Gateway website. http://www.gatewaycollege.net/newsDetail.asp?NID=302
I don't believe being a Bible School President has been a full time position for UPC.
David Barnard is a Pastor and also President of Urshan Graduate School of Theology. http://www.ugst.org/page.cfm?p=1

Re: Doctrinal Conference 2009 (Atlanta West)
If you were not intent on saving face you would have read where I believe the pattern is Jesus name baptism. Don't try to make this an issue of if I believe in the pattern or not. You said the Bible says EVERYONE was baptized in Jesus name. I showed you scripture where it does NOT say what was said when someone was baptized. You stated a falsehood whch you refuse to acknowledge as such.
There is a tremendous difference in saying the Bible says everyone did something and backtracking and stating there is a pattern in missing situations.
No one should be suprised. You complain about prosperity preachers twisting scripture. I cannot recollect the last time I read a post where you have misrepresented scripture at least once.
I am unable to see why it is okay for you to blatently distort scripture.
You are unable to stick to the facts. If you did, your religious dogmas would crumble under the weight of properly interpreting God's Word.

Re: Doctrinal Conference 2009 (Atlanta West)
Pastor will go to MO 1 time a month and the rest of the time he will conduct telephone conferences from Atlanta. He assured our local assembly (as well as the organiztion) that he will not be leaving atlanta and that all meetings that require his attention should take place via telephone conference and webinars and the like. Kinda cool huh......
Yes, the DVD's are already on sale. Go to www.awpc.org

When I was there the President lived in Texas. He visited once to explain the details about a rather embarrassing article in the Saint Louis newspaper, and then left.
Seemed like a nice guy though.
