For a woman, yeah. But what about a man you don't like? Cut his pants short, when he's not looking?

Hmmm, buy him a t-shirt in the woman's department of a store? It could still look manly, just needs to come from the woman's department...

4. Why doesn't the Bible mention anything about your church?
1. His word is truth and thus the True Church is not based on age of existence but the truth of the word. A church can be around for 2000 years and straw from the truth and no longer be The Church

2. Same as above, the church is not based on how many people know about it. These follow the pattern of a logical fallacy like an argument of numbers or an argument of popularity and an argument of antiquity

3. Isn't that true for most that never hear about The Church? BTW they need to hear the gospel, not about a church. And they need to believe it

4. why does the bible need to mention "it" by name since in the bible the church was never given a name......adjectives maybe, not not names

  2. The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
  3. Every sinner must repent of their sins.
  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Re: My Church is the Only One That is Right

BTW the church is not a monolithic visible organization with a name or a pedigree or historical track record. It's the body of believers. That is why a local church does not have to be a member of any group to be a church. What they need though still is accountability and fellowship

Re: My Church is the Only One That is Right

I didn't mean to have jokes made about the whole uncut hair thing and salvation, but I am curious as to Elder Epley's explanation on this matter, and how it can be reconciled with this particular teaching on hair being the difference between heaven and hell, while obesity and it's sin of gluttony will not keep someone out of Heaven.

GOD BLESS!

Re: My Church is the Only One That is Right

Just be glad we are all in the hands of a God whose ways are far above our ways...

Someone came to me and said Missionary, did you see so and so sitting at the communion tabled dressed in such an ungodly manner? I said no, I did not I did not see and neither did I see the hearts of those that were dressed like me...

Judging is so easy...It almost comes automatic for most of us....
