Your comment about "your daughter" and you being a "mother hen" - I can totally identify with! I have tried to be cognizant of this fact and remember it when posting. ALL of our children have some type of hang-up that we can rant about, but we don't want anyone else to ! Believe me, I know about that sort of thing!
I pray that somehow through this path of motherhood, she comes to grip with the fact that your husband is her "daddy". As the old saying goes, "anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a daddy." I have a friend who has been through something very similar with her husband. It has been a long row to hoe. But God is faithful !
It's too late to go and and think about how you might have done things differently - but GOD can heal her broken heart ! Will be praying for you and your family!
In the healing there is peace and healing for you as well! Yes, our past is always before us - but God's grace is sufficient for it all! Don't "know" you personally, but I have come to love you and I am hugging you over the internet right now!

Sweet Pea,
Thank you for this very kind and understanding post! I appreciate your words! She will understand a whole lot more as she grows into motherhood, that's for sure.
I love you too and I'm hugging you back!

PO - - ditto what SP said - - I'm sorry for anything I might have said too.
You are completely right - - she's doing what she feels is best and you respecting that is awesome!
You understanding how/what your daughter feels or explains how she is acting is the coming from the insight of a loving mother and I'm almost certain your daughter herself doesn't even realize it.
So, I guess that does mean you will be getting them Christmas presents, right?

On a lighter note, I'll have to update you on the bumper pads.

Oh precious baby boy. He doesn't look like a preemie.

No, he does not. He weighed 14 lbs yesterday! !
They were away and visiting another church this past Sunday. God, who knows every heart, timed that service just for her. She was praying through the service that God would deliver her from her fear of losing her child. God moved in tongues and interpretation and took her fear away - in that one service - God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think!
I had to allow God to do this for her. It was out of my hands! Thank you, Jesus!

Re: PRAY for PO's Daughter and Grandson
14 lbs already! WOW!! she must have some GREAT milk for him Seriously, he is perfect!
And PO, I echo Sweet Pea and Renda in apologizing for making you feel as if you had to share a story with us that you hadn't intended to. I understand how private you are and respect that. But I do appreciate you sharing with us. It is good to get to know you better. We're not here to judge you in any way. We love you.
I also apologize for "forgetting to remember" that this is your child we are talking about. Your daughter. Whatever our children do, moms understand things that no one else does because often moms know more about their children than anyone else does. Sometimes even more than the child themselves.
Thank you for trusting us with your life's story. If I were closer, I'd come over and give you a big giant hug.
