Re: Facebook
This is really not a big deal - if you have a general idea where somone lives - - state/county you can find their address by public records by just putting in their name.

The reality is even if you are a very private person anyone can get almost any information on you they want for a few dollars. I use a service from a company in DC and for a very small fee I can get pretty much everything you have ever done. Traffic tickets, late payments, addresses, phone numbers, etc.

How small a fee? just curious. My brother has rental properties and needs to find out more about people before he rents to them.

It depends on how extensive you want to go. I have never spent more than about $70.00 and usually only about $30. How much information you are starting with helps as well because they basically just input the info and print out the report. If he is renting to them he can ask them to sign for a credit report and he will have more than enough info to do a background check. You can even do them online but I prefer to have the company I use do it. I pass the cost on to the client. He could do this as well by charging an application fee.

Exactly.
I was going to go out with a guy that I didn't have a lot of background on so I did a $50 report and found out if he was really divorced, where he had lived for the past 10 yrs, no crimal record, etc. Then, we ended up not going out - lol!
Oh well, I'd do it again if I needed to.
