She called the hospital because he was making funny noises while he was sleeping. Of course, they told her it was normal. LOL! She had never been in the room with him while he was sleeping as she had to feed him in NICU and then go back to her room. LOL! Just making sure he was okay! LOL!

Yea, probably so! LOL!
He made it through the night, first night at home, without the monitor going off!
BUT, now he won't stop crying when she puts him down even IF he falls asleep and he DOES NOT want his daddy! He wants HER to hold him.
She said she needs some sleep. Poor thing. I don't know what to do. The hospital said that if he keeps that up, she will need to bring him back in for more evaluation.
I am thinking that if he stops crying when she holds him, there is nothing wrong with him. He just wants comfort and knows she is his comfort. He would continue to cry, even being held, if something was really wrong. Don't you think?

That's what I would think, but he wasn't held all the time at the hospital. Has she got the bed elevated and all snuggly like the hospital had there's? I'd try to make it just like they had it.

The "wedge pillow" has a diaper (velcro flaps) type thing attached so that he won't slide off of it. She said he wouldn't stop crying until they put the pillow on the bed, BUT that was last night. Now, he doesn't want any of it. LOL! She's finding out that "baby" is always going to want mother more! LOL! I think he is having an adjustment period at the house.
Maybe he doesn't need the pillow anymore and doesn't like it. I don't know.

Maybe it's too quiet - - the hospital is noisy.

Me too! And I have glue all over the kitchen floor! It's nasty, tacky and just yuck!!! Everything was fun pulling it up. It's like peeling sunburn. LOL! BUT, when you apply the water to loosen the backing - what a mess!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, my whiny rant is over. LOL!
