I have just discovered that you are bogus and appear to be anti Lee Stoneking in the process you, and no doubt the authors of other recently received requests for information, have mixed up at least 2 different bodies to support you unfounded views about SEU. I doubt if you ever wished to study with SEU or anywhere else. You are asked to acknowledge, as publicly as you published, that you have deliberately tried to mislead me and that in doing so you have mixed at least two bodies to assist you, that should then be the end of the matter.

BishopH, in other words, AST has had the trappings of full accredition, but they themselves have not been put to the same academic rigor to make sure it's instructors, curriculum, testing, etc meet the standards. It's by way of relationship with Patten and now Hope. These colleges, in essence, are brokering out their accredition.
First let me say that I fully agree that the stand alone accreditation of UGST is monumental and something that should be applauded.
As to the "brokering" of accreditation to AST....I think that may be true with regard to Patten.....however with Hope, AST had to fully align with the same academic guidelines as Hope with regard to professors credentials, course work, etc. Otherwise AST could endanger Hope's accreditation....which I doubt they would be willing to chance.

Professor credentials (as far as having the appropriate degrees) - sure. But academic rigor (Curriculum/Professor to Student) - not so sure.
In the end, you still have faculty that is mostly in one city and church, and many students that worship together, eat together and hang out with the faculty. It's still quite incestuous that way. However, there's hope with Hope. The program grows, the participation grows, etc.
I'm very surprised that Hope allows their official theology arm to go by the name of "Apostolic School of Theology." Do they not know that those founders believer they are all going to hell in a handbasket?
