Re: Handwriting on the Wall

An October surprise is a managed news event, designed to effect election results, near the end of the election. At the end of the 1992 presidential, it was the older Pres. Bush against former governor Clinton of Arkansas, and the polls showed Clinton ahead, but Bush catching up slowly but surely. Just before the announcement Clinton's lead was cut to about 1%. An announcement by the Special Prosecutor the Friday before the election, cast doubt on the innocence of Pres. Bush concerning the charges, and his numbers took a nose dive and he lost. Later it was found that the allegations were nothing new at all. Just before he left office Pres. Bush pardoned all those accused by the Special Prosecutor, except himself. He did this because he did not like having the election effected in this way.
Also done by Kennedy in 1962, over the Cuban missle crisis, and here he was no doubt right about going after Cuba, but the timing of it greatly effected our off year elections and saved the Democrats from a real defeat. It happens.

They still face voter fraud charges in several states such as Harry Reid's Nevada.
All the edited videos do is show that Giles and O'Keefe were actively peddling a deceptive, HEAVILY edited video to news shows that didn't take time to research the accusations.

According to the Attorney General of CA, the uncut video does not show them going into ACORN offices dressed as pimps and prostitutes. They went into the offices in dress clothes, with O'Keefe sometimes even posing as running for congress. The employee that supposedly gave them tips on setting up a child smuggling/prostitution ring did nothing of the sort. The contact he gave them in Mexico was actually a police official, and contacted the Mexican Police (who then contacted the San Diego Police) about the incident once the couple left.

Re: Handwriting on the Wall

As for voter registration fraud, it is individual employees facing that, not ACORN themselves. The individual employees were faking registration cards in order to be paid more.
