They didn't *just take* the kids--the parents gave permission. They should have gone through official channels, and that was their mistake--but obviously a big-hearted one.

I personally know Christians who have had to flee their countries because of religious persecution. It isn't always possible to follow the "proper channels", even though in this case it probably would have been the right way to go.

Their "advisor" appears to be a person of interest in a case involving human trafficking in South America.

The guy wanted in South America is wanted for luring young ladies into prostitution by using bogus job offers in modelling.


I know the Americans will eventually be released, but none of this had to happen like this!!!!
