Still, the offer is on the board. If any of you guys believe you can support tithing and that Jason is wrong we will host the debate.
It will be 1 on 1, no interruptions.
It will have a word limit, thus ensuring that if someone goes off on a tangent or resorts to insults the use up their "time"
Each side will get a chance to state their case.
It won't be an on going back and forth argument. It will have a beginning and an ending..
And since this is an open forum no excuses that the person was answered but he just couldn't see or respond to the answer because he was banned

Tithe to support the Levites
21 “Behold, lI have given the children of Levi all the tithes in Israel as 9an inheritance in return for the work which they perform, mthe work of the tabernacle of meeting. 22 nHereafter the children of Israel shall not come near the tabernacle of meeting, olest they bear sin and die. 23 But the Levites shall perform the work of the tabernacle of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity; it shall be a statute forever, throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance. 24 For the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer up as a heave offering to the LORD, I have given to the Levites 1as an inheritance; therefore I have said to them, ‘Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.’ ”
The New King James Version. 1982. Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
Tithe for the poor
12 “When you have finished laying aside all the ntithe of your increase in the third year— othe year of tithing—and have given it to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, so that they may eat within your gates and be filled, 13 then you shall say before the LORD your God: ‘I have removed the 4holy tithe from my house, and also have given them to the Levite, the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, according to all Your commandments which You have commanded me; I have not transgressed Your commandments, pnor have I forgotten them. 14 qI have not eaten any of it 5when in mourning, nor have I removed any of it 6for an unclean use, nor given any of it for the dead. I have obeyed the voice of the LORD my God, and have done according to all that You have commanded me. 15 rLook down from Your holy 7habitation, from heaven, and bless Your people Israel and the land which You have given us, just as You swore to our fathers, s“a land flowing with milk and honey.” ’
The New King James Version. 1982. Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
And the givers ate of the tithe given to the levites
22 n“You shall truly tithe all the increase of your grain that the field produces year by year. 23 oAnd you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of pthe firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always. 24 But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, or qif the place where the LORD your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, when the LORD your God has blessed you, 25 then you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place which the LORD your God chooses. 26 And you shall spend that money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen or sheep, for wine or similar drink, for whatever your heart desires; you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you shall rrejoice, you and your household. 27 You shall not 5forsake the sLevite who is within your gates, for he has no part nor inheritance with you.
28 t“At the end of every third year you shall bring out the utithe of your produce of that year and store it up within your gates. 29 And the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
The New King James Version. 1982. Nashville: Thomas Nelson.

I enjoy this forum much better because of the freedom of expression. I know when to keep my mouth shut!
My posting there has almost ceased.
I think Jason was wrong in that he knows how to read signs as well as anyone else. It was evident from the beginning that he was in trouble. If he wanted to stay on the forum then he should have ceased also.
As far as Jason being comfortable here, I repeat that! Everyone here lets him have his soapbox, he is not banned, settle in and enjoy.
The martyr bit is old. He probably needs to join up with mr islam as they both would make good suicide bombers!

WII is a moderate muslim and I doubt he would ever consider being a suicide bomber

Re: Banned from AMF, AGAIN!
(still laughing) Not my field but I encourage you to feel free do some of your own personal research.....then when your AMF buddies join you on the other side you can all share a hotel room and "talk privately" <wink wink> about the experience.
Have fun!

Re: Banned from AMF, AGAIN!
Thats what I posted. My understanding was that the tithe was collected yearly. The tithe was to be used for the feast every year by the person paying and his family and shared with the levites. Every 3rd year it appears that all of the tithe was to go to the Levites/poor/etc.
I know this. There was no "weekly", "monthly", "bi-weekly" tithe......EVER lol
