I know what you mean. I've gotten into such a schedule of getting up and getting hubby off to work in the mornings, that I automatically wake up every morning at 4:40--- five minutes before the alarm would go off if he were working. I tried to go back to sleep this morning, but gave up at 5:30, and just got up. Had three hours of quiet time before anyone else got up. It was nice-- but geesh... I could have slept another couple of hours at least!

Yeah, but it was expensive. We ended up buying some of it online last night and we bought something else at Home Depot today. Hope it all looks good together!!!

Re: Gabby's

What's everyone up to today?

We're trying to pack up more of Sam's stuff, getting her ready to move Saturday.

I keep taking short breaks to check in here to see if anyone is here.

Already had the coffee for the day, but we could do lunch....

Re: Gabby's

I just got back from working out at Curves. I'm contemplating doing laundry. Maybe that will cause clean clothes to miraculously appear.

After that, I need to plan out our curriculum for homeschooling this year. I'm a little late getting to that this year, I'm just not really in the school mood yet. My baby is starting first grade, and I'm looking forward to teaching her, she enjoys learning.

That's what's going on around my homestead.

Re: Gabby's

I've been working on homeschool stuff off and on all summer. Still haven't gotten it all together, but we're ready to at least get started on the 24th. That's our goal for starting anyway. Hopefully we won't be delayed beyond that. The original plan was to start back on the 17th-- but decided it would be pushing it too much after moving Sam to college this weekend. I figured we'd all need to rest up a few days first.

Lunchtime-- having a left over biscuit from breakfast.... and a sliced tomato fresh from the garden.
