David Allen Coe
I have been working on a house that was owned by David Allen Coe - now owned by a doctor.
Does anyone like his music?
Most of it I actually dislike - he was/is a pretty rough character.
Here is one I always thought was kind of nice

You pretty much had to be high or drunk to listen to his music.

Re: David Allen Coe
David Allan Coe can sing, but most of his songs are too raunchy,he went into doing a bunch of x-rated material.
But he has a good voice,he needs a haircut and a shave but he can sing.

No. Why would I be joking?
I would not expect anyone to endorse anything vulgar ect. but I am asking more about his style. Personally I like very little country music be it gospel or otherwise.

While not commenting on DAC, I enjoy some Robert Earl Keene any day of the week. I've seen him in concert twice, even better than on CDs. A true
story-teller.

Re: David Allen Coe
I know most of his songs by heart. I still will listen to it every now and then. I was raised on country. Where I grew up while others where listening to 2pac,dr. dre etc.
DAC, Hank Williams jr. , Willie & Waylon...they were the soundtrack to my teen years.
