The Bible gives instructions on how to put a Church together and it wouldn't matter who is Pastor. If that Church is not lead by the Holy Spirit, then the Church, is just playing Church anyways.
God chooses whom he chooses.

Hello, I don't think Scripture could possibly be plainer on the subject of women in Eldership/Leadership [I Tim. 2:11-14, I Cor. 14:34-35, I Ptr. 3, etc.].
The early church did not even consider this as an issue, much like the trinity doctrine/baptismal formula, etc. These issues arose as the practices unfortunately began. Blessings....RDP.

Women in spiritual leadership began long before the early church came into existence. Thus the early church didn't need to consider the issue. It had been settled long ago. It was years later, long after the church came into existence, that man began to question what God had already been doing.
I suppose God was wishy washy and decided to stop using women in the New Testament? I think not.
