WOW! How did I miss this one back in November? Is this guy working with IB? I can't wait to see someone post a follow up on this.

There's no escaping this one. Since he, himself, called it a prophecy, he just sealed his label as a False Prophet!

I was wondering when this thread would resurface; I couldn't remember the title of it. Looks like the guy has worked himself out of a viable ministry.

False prophets, these days, often suffer very few consequences of getting it wrong. They invent reasons for the failure. God changed His mind, or the fulfillment is yet to come and in a different way than expected, a few "misses" now and then are to be expected, etc. And the followers are very forgiving. He may lose some of his following, but I bet he recovers. Most of those guys do.

man, he should have at least capitilized on his 15 minutes with getting 1000 people to give him $1000 seeds, at least he would be a millionaire.

Anyway, no harm done, he can go on to TBN, he will fit right in. j/k

In all seriousness, it is these kinds of people that we need to pray for, he is most likely a sincere christian who confused something God was showing him, or was just overly zealous. He probably feels terrible right now.
