I somewhat disagree. Eph 5 is about Christ giving Himself for the church in order to have a church without spot or wrinkle. Giving Himself implies the cross. It shows how much a husband should love his wife. The church is presented to Him as soon as it was created by someone obeying Acts 2:38. No greater love has any man than that he woudl give His life.

Otherwise, we are not without spot and wrinkle when first saved, which means we're not actually saved at all yet.

Anyone who obeys Acts 2:38 is instantly without spot or wrinkle, and has only need of spiritual growth.

the Father told Him to do. If we seek to be like Jesus, we will allow

the Holy Ghost to give us words to speak and direction in the things

He, the Spirit of Truth directs or leads us to do..
