I think human nature has always been they want to belong to something they are excluded from, just the nature of the beast.

It may indeed be the nature of the beast, but that doesn't make dishonesty right or acceptable.

My nature isn't like that - - I wouldn't want to be a member of JP because I was too busy having fun at JCM and didn't study hard enough to withstand debating all those preachers!

I know a young couple with children that have quit going to church because they don't fit in with any of the cliques. This is happening way to much.

For an older seasoned person this is not a strong issue but for young people this is a major issue.

I don't know how or if it is possible for the pastors to resolve this problem.

It is also the reason why many more mature people leave also. If a member of the body od Christ can't fit it then it makes me wonder about how new members can be discipled.

Maybe it should be the saints responsibility. If other saints notice it happening, then they should reach out to those people. You are never going to erase the cliques, but you can keep them to a minimal if others would reach out.
