It isn't. But comparing Americans/Mexicans and Arabs/Arabs aren't one and the same. The Palestinians are suffering in large part b/c their Arab brothers made promises to take care of them if they would help them go to war against the Jews. Since going to war against Israel has proven to be a pretty boneheaded idea, these Arab nations have abandoned their brothers high and dry. I would venture to say that Israel, the US and Western Europe are providing most of the aid and services that are helping the Palestinians more anyone. It would be nice if the Arab nations would pony up or pressure the Palestinian leaders to stop fomenting violence and instability. But we know that the players in the region want instability.
