That first child is the worst one!!! When my wife (who wasn't my wife at the time) had our first child, he got stuck, and the doctor was late in getting there. They couldn't give her the epidural without an order from him, and she ending up tearing. This is the child I was talking about who was adopted out and we made contact with recently, only to find out he's very borderline retarded. I am convinced this happened to him because of a lack of oxygen. We have 4 other children, and none of them are retarded. Every time I think about him being retarded it breaks my heart and makes me want to go find that doctor and beat him senseless for being late!!!! Ugh!
Lack of oxygen is a big concern, this was the case with our son, doctor didn't like what he was seeing on the read outs. I'm sorry about your son, they try to keep my mom from having me, they told her she had to wait till the doctor got there. The nuns try crossing her legs, she threaten them with lawsuit! They finally left her alone out I came, blue! I was her fourth child she said she never seen a baby so blue, she thought I was dead.The only problem I have is with my eyes, they are bad, I can't see well. So I do understand the risk. And I can turn around and point out that Paul had a thorn in his flesh that He continued to trust God over, even though God didn't heal him of it. The whole point of trusting God is to trust Him whether He heals you or not. The focus isn't on getting healed.
And for that thorn in his flesh, he used medications! That's my point! I think you are getting it, but OM is still looking in the weed patch for his flowers!

Uhhhhh, there are no scriptures that say Paul took any medications for his thorn in the flesh.
He's speaking in generalities, and you are specifically talking about him being in school while his wife is working. You're trying to discredit him, HO. There are things I could say about what you are talking about, but I talk with him about that in private, not on a public forum during a debate on trusting God with one's health.
When he is specific and says that people who take medications aren't trusting completely in God, that's very personal, not only to me, but to several on this forum. That statement is in no way a general one.
So I take his statement about me and put it on him. That's all.
And yes, his answer would discredit his premise that those who take medications don't fully trust in God.

I believe someone posted them when they also posted Paul telling Timothy to take wine for his stomach.
I would love to see them. There's been a lot of debate on what Paul's thorn was to begin with. There's nothing there to indicate he was taking medication for it. Anyway, I've been on this thread pretty much most of the day, so I am going to call it a night on this trusting God thing. Catcha on another thread!
