They also announced that they had voted to separate ORU from the Oral Roberts Evangelistic Ministry...this would obviously allow Richard to remain with the ministry while not with the school...these two have always been together. In the beginning the Ministry arm underwrote the school but they say that in the last few years the school has assumed some ministry debt (such as the tv broadcasts)...
All in all it would appear that ORU has victory ahead...perhaps indicated by the ORU basketball team beating the University of Tulsa (a much higher rated school team) tonight in some bedlam action....

David Green of Hobby Lobby is an awesome man of God, he has invested millions and millions into churches and related orgs.

He said that the decision to give the money hinged on richards resignation. Although he does not know the Roberts..nor has ever met them...he said he wanted to help the school for the students. I am sure that he has many ORU grads and students in his company...
He also will have two family members...himself and one other...on the board of regents. And he was also a catalyst to separate the ORE Ministry from the school. He made it plain..."the Roberts are to have nothing to do with the finances of the school ever again
This is the kicker for sure...if in 90 days the board of regents show that the Roberts have no financial interest in ORU...and if a clear plan for future financial transparency is met...
HE IS GIVING ORU $62 million MORE!!! He is literally going to pay off the entire debt!!

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?
Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.

Re: ORU ALERT@@ New Survey shows 80% want Richard
I could have played baseball at ORU. Woulda coulda shoulda...would probably met a nice WASP baptist girl, got married, popped out a couple of kids then divorced like everyone else.
Instead I listened to my momma, stayed home, went to college and thank God, 20 years later, I am still with my soul mate.
