As a former food server at Applebees and Black Angus I can attest to the bad reputation that evangelical and primarily Pentecostalish Christians have among service staff. Generally rude and demanding and loud and messy and extremely bad tippers. There were exceptions to this rule but not enough to change the general perception. It was embarrassing to me and to this day I am very choosy about who I will go out to eat with when it comes to Christians. |
