I hope I used common enough lingo for those of you who enjoy ridiculing me for using words. It might surprise some of you to find that the King James version of the bible is equivelant today to a masters degree level education because of the dumbing down of linguistic ability.

HEY! My grandfather still prays using old English vernacular so I am offended when you say we have dumbed down linguistic ability.
Oh yea, any time any place, anywhere you want to compare linguistic abilities, you just say the word.

My Dear Ravenhearst,
The Bible is intellectually stimulating, and intelligently written--indeed, how could it be any less, considering The Source? Yet, in the manner of a true teacher, He allows it to be understandable by the common reader, and therein lies its true beauty and value.
Your linguistic abilities, however great they may or may not be, are not in the least comparable to the expertly woven scriptures.
Yours Truly,
Bratty.
