You just proved that I am right. Thank you.

I use Strongs often, but I do not rely solely on his concordance. I use others (i.e. Vine's Dictionary) and look for agreement among the resources. Why? Because Strong's isn't 100% correct 100% of the time.

Please know why this is important. Strongs is not scripture. Being the decent fellow that you probably are, you're probably not in the habit of intentionally offending people and maybe you would have presented your 'discovery' in a way that would not have offended me and the tens of thousands of people who make their career in the field of pharmacy.

If your understanding of pharmacology was as good as it could be, you would have never made the inference that a connection exists between 1st century medicine men and today's apothecary. Quantitative calculations for formulations and knowledge of empirical formulas were not used 21 centuries ago, but it is used today in the development of medications, including all the stuff you have in your medicine cabinet and some of the stuff in your first aid kit.

I strive for peace, and the subject of your thread was provocative. I'll accept a cyber-handshake from you, as dial-up permits.
Spot on brother...

Regardless of the story on this side of the fence you guys keep coming up with the same unsupported argument. There were two fields in the Biblical days, the apothecaries were also religiously rooted and thus were witchcraft but even in the Bible days science played a role in the use of medicine.

But what do i know, universities don't make you learn the history of your field do they?
Until you are ready for the truth you will never see it even when a scripture has been shown so many times. Pray that God will open your eyes to see the truth.

You think I am being judgmental... you are kidding me. You call this side of the debate judgmental and yet this entire time you have not made one single argument. Not one!

You have not done anything besides give one definition of a word, that's it. What makes you the AFF expert in the area.

Are then any doctors out here that want to chime in?

This is the most ridiculous thread I have read on here especially when you keep making pointless posts and have not said one thing that even argues your side.

Does, "pray that God open your eyes" mean you don't have a clue and you don't even want to attempt to answer?

LOL!!! You're an alright fellow. I don't try to offend but I do know how to offend people when it warrants. People who know me know that I have done this many times. I just gave what the scripture said and wasn't looking for people to attack like a dog either.

Brother, I don't doubt that this science has grown from where it started, but that doesn't change the fact that it started where it started.

Your credibility went out the window several pages ago, so you are completely wasting your time on this thread.

My credibility has nothing to do with me telling you how you were acting.

You are wasting your time even talking I guess because everything you have said on this thread was the same thing just repeated over and over again.

Luckily I have not had to do this.... wonder who really is wasting their breath...
