Lazy Kids

These lazy kids!! It's almost 1pm and all of them are still in bed sleeping!! I wish I still my trombone. Dad would play a tune the likes of which these kids and this neighborhood have never heard!! Well, I do have my geetar and amp! I suppose I could serenade them, with the amp turned all the way up and the distortion set to shredddddd!

Re: Lazy Kids

Rico,
it is a troubling thing how young people who already were predisposed toward sleeping in, now that the gross distortion of light and dark caused by their access to the online community that is EVEN MORE disposed toward DARK HOUR activity.

Many of our kids are really pretty sensible but the tempter (IMO) has placed something in their lives that can greatly distort God's day-night design for his children.

Re: Lazy Kids

I have to admit, I was the same way, but not until I got well into my teens. Even my two young ones are starting to sleep late and want to stay up late. I guess it's partly my fault for letting them stay up until midnight. Even so, we are talking 12+ hours of sleep a day, and that isn't normal for anyone.

Actually it is normal for teens to sleep longer.

I'd like to see some proof of that, if you have any. I am sure my son would too!

My pops wouldn't let me stay in bed beyond 8 am even on Saturday. My daughter would like to stay in bed half the day, but my son is usually up by about 6:30 on his own.

It is hormonal. I don't remember the details.
