And yes, Renda. It's been a busy week! I had Mother's Day this week also! LOL!
But it's been a terrific week.
Had a surprise tonight also. My father, whom I rarely hear from and never on my birthday, called me tonight. I'm sure it was at the insistence of his mother, whom I see every couple months and have for several years now. But it was still shocking to hear from him. However, I'm not sure what to think about that.....LOL!
I went camping at LR's hunting woods last night, taking my daughter and a friend of hers along. We played cards til 1AM. LR went turkey hunting (didn't kill anything but saw 8 deer and three tom turkeys!) until about 9AM and we played more games.
I got home and dressed and went to the funeral home to pay last respects to a former nursing home resident who tragically passed away after an accident at home on Monday, then went fishing until about 5PM. Then LR and her husband took me out to Texas Roadhouse and treated me to steak.
I should also mention that they bought me a very nice digital video recorder, which is cool!! I'm going to use it tomorrow night to videotape the drama that the youth group will perform. If I put it on Youtube, I'll put the link in my signature for those who are interested. I'm looking forward to it.
It's been a wonderful day.
