Morning yall! Been a fun morning around here! One of the kids lost her school shoes so she was late and cried for half an hour telling me she was going to be late instead of looking... Another one lost one of our movies (its a blockbuster movie by mail and I needed to send them back today) so I have been scouring his room and just now found it... another who is just slow getting ready every day... she does have to be to school until 9 and let me tell ya,,,, I wake her up at 630 with the rest and she is always still walking in at 855!!!!
So anywho... thats my morning.. now I am trying to get some summer plans made... when and if the kids are going to their dads... 2 might be headed to chicago and then they might not... their dad has decided that he is going to keep his check *stimulus check* since it was accidentally sent to him even though it was supposed to be garnished (he still owes 45,000 in back CS. and that was the money I was gonna use for their plane tickets and part of sons car so we are having kid fits here too about that!
Then the other dad (yep I have one ex and one who is babys daddy.. this was BC) I know I know I didnt have to clarify that but for those who are new I wanted to clarify that it is BC people BC LOL.... well he has decided to let the government send him back to Iraq again!!!! GRRRRRRRR ( I know its not his choice but I like to blame him for something) and since his is the baby... well... she doesnt understand.. what 9 yr old will ever understand a situation like this.. even when he was gone at the beginning of the war the older ones didnt understand... so I dont expect her to but its just hard... especially since she doesnt live in a military community anymore she is not around people that experience this like she does so often and she has no one to relate to... SO we are dealing with her and her summer being botched up... she will still go to Seattle just a lot shorter visit... I have to say this is my fault tho cuz every time he starts giving me trouble I just pray and within a day or 2 he calls and says he is being shipped off again... I kid you not every single time! God is good!!! Just wish J understood
Summer Plans... What are yours?!?!
So we are going to Ok for Memorial day... will be fun... spending it at the lake w my best friend and their family! We attempted it last year and ended up floating away! They had the worst floods when we were there and ended up stranded at a Burger King for the night after our truck floated half a mile there!!!
Then of course the kids have their six flags season passes so we will probably be there at least once a week(its a lot further here than the one that was in OK.. not sure if with the price of gas it will be worth me having bought these!) And then Celebrate Freedom! We all get so excited as this gets closer! Its the largest free concert in the country andits awesome gospel singers! Kirk Franklin and about 50 others!!! 2 days all day and we just love it! Trapsed thru the mid which was 2 ft deep last yr for 2 days for this thing! We are committed!!! LOL
Then heading to my moms in Mo. for the end of the summer. They own some lots at a lake resort there and we are gonna go spend a week at the lake and hopefully meet Stephen Hoover and his family also while there! We are excited!
So what do yall have planned for the summer?!?
Since I finished teaching school all my time is my own. I love it!! After working so many years in sales I deserve the break. That was some intense competitive work.
